IMPD looking into tragic hit-and-run in the area of the north side

Indianapolis, Indiana – Following a hit-and-run early on Saturday morning on Indianapolis’ near north side, a man has passed away.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department states that shortly after two in the morning, officers were called to the scene of a pedestrian strike at the intersection of West 33rd Street and North Illinois Street.
Officers discovered a male who had been struck when they arrived. At the scene, he was identified as deceased.
The man was allegedly using a scooter when he was hit by the car, according to the investigators.
There was no hint of anything suspicious.
