Indiana State Department of Health reports 2,210 new cases, 12 additional deaths
Indiana – As the state continued to see decline in viral transmission, Indiana State Department of Health reported 2,210 new Covid-19 cases and 12 more deaths due to coronavirus.
The state’s totals with the new additions is 613,228 cases and 9,352 deaths.
The state’s coronavirus numbers are similar to what Indiana saw at the beginning of November in terms of the number of new outbreaks, the number of deaths and the number of people hospitalized. But the case counts and deaths this time are headed down instead of up.
State’s positivity rate is now 9.6%.
2,045 Hoosiers are hospitalized with Covid-19.
To date, 2,907,032 unique individuals, up from 2,900,051 on Sunday, have been tested in Indiana.
As of today, 100,019 people are fully vaccinated and 440,822 have received a first dose of vaccine in Indiana.
