Indianapolis marks the tenth anniversary of Pop Con

Indianapolis, Indina — This weekend, a popular event returns to the Indiana Convention Center.
PopCon Indy, a weekend-long celebration of all things pop culture, is celebrating its tenth year.
“We absolutely love Indianapolis,” Carl Doninger, one of the co-owners, said. “We are from Indianapolis, and we are the only local large pop culture convention. We love being in Indianapolis.”
Fans may enjoy everything this year at PopCon Indy, including famous people, anime, cosplay, interactive games, virtual reality experiences, and much more.
The organizers believe this may be the best year yet given the participation of over 300 vendors and the large turnout of fans.
“Comics, anime, art, fantasy, sci-fi… Anything that geeks you out, we got it!,” Doninger said.
