Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department investigating after body found on near northwest side
Indianapolis, Indiana – On Monday, homicide police in Indianapolis were looking into a body that had been found in an alley on the city’s near northwest side.
Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were summoned to a neighborhood in the 800 block of West 25th Street, close to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street, just before 6:45 a.m. to look into a death.
“Officers arrived and located a victim with injuries consistent with trauma,” IMPD Public Information Officer Samone Burris said in a release.
The victim’s identity and the circumstances of their death were kept a secret by the investigators.
