Indianapolis Public Works taking applications to improve neighborhoods

Indianapolis, Indiana – Applications are now being accepted by the Department of Public Works for the Indianapolis Neighborhood Infrastructure Partnership for 2024.
Through the initiative, locals can actively contribute to the growth of their towns. Projects can be utilized to celebrate a neighborhood’s identity through art or for more lasting changes like sidewalks.
On Tuesday, members of the Near North Neighborhood Development Corp. praised the advantages of the initiative.
Briand Carman, president of the corporation, said, “If you’re anything like Near North neighborhoods, you also know that those resources are very hard to find to make those projects happen. I’m here to say the INIP program is your way to realize those dreams, those visions, and those big-picture ideas for your neighborhoods.”
Applications are accepted through February 16th.
