Indianapolis will soon have two options for recycling electronics

Indianapolis, Indiana – There are two ways that visitors to Indianapolis can recycle their old devices.
The first is the Colts Electronics recycling day, and the second is the City Household Hazardous Waste and Electronics drop-off day.
A hazardous trash disposal event is scheduled for this Saturday at the Indianapolis Department of Public Works. This event takes place at the Arts Center in Garfield Park, 2505 Conservatory Drive, and runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. For further information and a comprehensive list of recyclables that are allowed, visit their event page on Facebook.
On October 7, the Colts are having an electronics savings day. This event takes place in the downtown Indianapolis parking lot of Lucas Oil Stadium South and runs from 8 a.m. to noon. For more information and a list of materials that are approved for recycling, see their website.
The staff of the events will assist with vehicle unloading and the proper disposal of hazardous electronic materials. Admission to both events is free.
