ISP investigating interstate shooting that left 1 injured
Lake County, Indiana – A shooting on I-80 in northwest Indiana early on Saturday morning that injured one person is being looked into by Indiana State Police.
According to ISP, the shooting was the result of a road rage incident involving a black Ford Mustang GT and a light-colored Sedan that happened around 3 in the morning.
Multiple rounds were fired at the Mustang from the Sedan, injuring someone inside. ISP did not specify whether the person who was hit was driving or a passenger.
The sufferer was taken to a local hospital where minor wounds were attended to. ISP said that they were released soon after.
ISP is asking for help from the public in finding the person who committed this act of road rage shooting. Anyone who may have seen what happened or has dashcam images or videos of the incident is urged to get in touch with Detective Eagles at 219-696-6242.
