Kayaker finds dead body on White River
Anderson, Indiana – According to a news statement from the Anderson Police Department, a kayaker spotted a dead corpse on the White River close to the Rangeline Nature Preserve.
At 9:55 on Saturday morning, officers were called to a report of a death investigation. Officers spoke with a kayaker who had discovered the body while paddling along the White River when they arrived.
At this time, the victim has only been identified as a Caucasian male who was found around 1/4 mile west of Rangeline Rd.
His identity is being kept secret until an autopsy by the Madison County Coroner’s Office can establish the precise cause of death. Additionally, police are currently making an effort to contact relatives.
