Large industrial fire on Indianapolis’ southwest side, crews responded at the scene
Indianapolis, Indiana – Large industrial fire on Indianapolis’ southwest side filled the sky with thick black smoke in the area.
According to report, fire crews responded on Sunday afternoon to Alpine Truck & Salvage at 2205 S. Holt Road. Wayne Township Fire Department and Indianapolis Fire Department crews responded at the scene with multiple trucks.
First crews that responded at the scene said outside rubbish fire spread into the building after it consumed a conveyor belt.
No more details were provided at this moment.
The fire was completely extinguished before 3 p.m.
There is open investigation about what caused the fire.
