Last week for the Decorators’ Show House and Gardens

Indianapolis, Indiana – The 62nd Indianapolis Decorators’ Show House & Gardens is currently in its last week. The purpose of the event this year is to raise money for Eskenazi’s mental health institutions.
The St. Margaret’s Hospital Guild, with assistance from other regional designers and artists, hosts the Show House. The “Failey House” is the highlighted home being toured this year. It can be found at 57 East 57th Street, and it’s open through Mother’s Day.
The Failey family owned the house for 82 years, hence the name “The Failey House” for this year’s entry. Everyone who enters the house through the front entrance is greeted by a gorgeous green arbor. The exquisite home in the prestigious Meridian-Kessler area has undergone extensive renovations by interior designers and landscape architects.
The Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center’s John & Kathy Ackerman Mental Health Professional Development Center will benefit from the proceeds of this event, which continues until May 14. The St. Margaret’s Hospital Guild hopes to raise $1 million for the Eskenazi Health Behavioral Health Academy, and visits to the historic home will assist in that effort.
The John & Kathy Ackerman Mental Health Professional Development Center at Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center, according to Eskenazi Health, seeks to develop a comprehensive workforce development plan that covers all mental health care disciplines, providing professional experience and support in order to create a talent pipeline from which Eskenazi Health can hire and continue to invest in employees’ growth and development while increasing the number of mental healers.
Online ticket purchases can be made here. They cost $30 for adults and $15 for kids aged 5 to 12.
