Man faces multiple charges after stealing FedEx vehicle in Noblesville

Noblesville, Indiana – Indianapolis man is facing multiple charges after allegedly stealing FedEx vehicle in Noblesville gas station.
According to police report, officers were dispatched to the Speedway gas station at 510 Westfield
Road around 2 p.m. regarding a call of a stolen FedEx vehicle.
Officers were able to quickly locate the stolen vehicle according to the signal of the vehicle GPS. But when they tried to stop it, the driver ignored the order and a chase started.
After a short pursuit, the driver lost control over the vehicle and crashed near the intersection of 116th Street and Keystone Avenue in Carmel.
The suspect, later identified as 32-yer-old Benjamin A. Manderfeld, suffered minor injuries as a result of the crash. He was arrested right after the incident.
Manderfeld faces a total of 4 charges including felony vehicle theft, felony resisting law enforcement, misdemeanor reckless driving and misdemeanor leaving the scene of an accident.
