Man killed by gunfire on Indianapolis’s near-west side
Indianapolis, Indiana – Following a nighttime gunshot inside a grocery market on Indianapolis’ near west side, a man has died.
Around 12:40 a.m. on Saturday, Indianapolis Metro police received a call reporting a person shot in the 3800 block of West Michigan Street.
On the near west side of Indianapolis, this is next to a grocery mart at the crossroads of Michigan and Holt Road.
When IMPD officers arrived, they discovered an adult male victim with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Around 12:50 a.m., IMPD reported that the male had been declared dead.
