Man shot, fatally wounded at IndyGo Bus Station
Indianapolis, Indiana – On Friday night, a man was shot and died in Indianapolis’ downtown.
Following allegations of a shooting, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were called to “Hotel Indy” in the 100 block of East Washington Street around 10:17 p.m.
When the police arrived, they saw a man with gunshot wounds in the hotel lobby. After being taken to a nearby hospital in severe condition, the man passed away from his wounds.
The Julia Carson Transit Center, which is located across the street from the hotel, is where the police believe the shooting started. The man allegedly ran away from the scene and ultimately found his way to the hotel lobby, where he was discovered by police.
