Marion County Sheriff’s Office looking to hire, job fair event
Marion County, Indiana – Marion County Sheriff’s Office will host a job fair as it’s looking to hire more than 100 people.
The job fair event is set to take place on Wednesday at Lugar Plaza, 200 E. Washington St. in Indianapolis from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There are three positions available for those interested:
- Deputy: Salary starts at $46,000 with annual raises to reach $54,000 in the seventh year
- Detention Deputy: Salary starts at $39,500 with annual raises to reach $43,800 in the third year
- 911 Dispatcher: Salary starts at $35,700 with annual raises to reach $40,200
In a press release, the office said there will be employment specialists from the office at the job fair taking applications, answering questions and explaining the benefits to the applicants.
