Near Monrovia, a school bus carrying children collides with a tree.
Monrovia, Arkansas – The Morgan County Sheriff has confirmed that a school bus carrying children has collided with a tree south of a school in Monrovia.
Children were on board the school bus at the time of the collision, according to the sheriff. Minor injuries, according to school officials, were reported.
South of the Monrovia schools, on State Road 39, the accident happened.
The scene was requested to send an ambulance.
The high school auditorium is where parents are to pick up their children, according to a call they received.
The sheriff’s office is currently looking into what caused the collision and why the bus veered off the road.
As the inquiry is still active and ongoing, no new details have been disclosed as of yet.
