Noblesville fatality victim identified as 18 years old

Noblesville, Indiana – On Thursday night, an 18-year-old male was shot and murdered in Noblesville.

Department of Police in Noblesville Around 10:18 p.m. on April 6, police were called to a complaint of gunfire in the 21500 block of Raccoon Court on the northwest side of the city.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a dead man close to the driveway of the residence. According to NPD, the victim looked to have many gunshot wounds. The Hamilton County Coroner’s Office will soon identify the official cause of death.

Grayson Aubrey Rhue, 18, of Roswell, Georgia, has been named as the victim.

Three persons were present inside the house when the incident occurred, according to NPD. As they gathered evidence, detectives spoke with these people. According to NPD, the three suspects weren’t the owners of the home; instead, they were keeping watch over it while the owners were away.

By giving statements to the responding officers and investigators, these identical persons cooperated with the inquiry. The subjects were discharged while an investigation was ongoing.

According to a preliminary inquiry, Rhue approached the house’s front door and rang the doorbell. It seems that Rhue and the subjects who were already inside the house had a brief talk.

The conversation then seems to have ended. A few seconds later, Rhue returned to the entrance and went inside. Rhue allegedly pulled out a weapon at that point and threatened the three people.

Then, one of the housemates allegedly drew a firearm and shot Rhue numerous times, as reported by NPD. Responding authorities found a revolver close to Rhue’s dead body. Rhue fled the house before fainting near the edge of the driveway.

According to NPD, they are still looking for a suspect in this case who they say was with Rhue the night of the shooting. The person looks to be a guy at this time, while NPD acknowledges that it is now difficult to establish that due to the subject’s hands and face being covered by a mask and gloves.
