One woman is dead following single-vehicle crash on near-northwest side

Indianapolis, Indiana – According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, on Wednesday night, a woman died in a single-vehicle crash on the 2000 block of Montcalm Street.
The woman was the singular occupant of the vehicle, police said.
According to police, the vehicle crashed into a pole along the street on the near northwest side.
The woman’s identity has not been publicly shared.
An investigation about the cause of the incident is ongoing.
