Pedestrian struck, killed on Indy’s south side
Indianapolis, Indiana – A person was struck and killed by an automobile early on Saturday morning on Indianapolis’ south side, and police are looking into the incident.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department reports that at approximately 6:40 a.m., police were contacted in response to a report of someone being struck at the junction of Bluff Road and West Southport Road.
A person who had been struck by a car was found by the responding authorities, who declared them dead at the site.
The driver of the involved car stayed on the site, according to the police.
