Person found shot outside a strip mall in Castleton
Indianapolis, Indiana – According to authorities, a shot victim was discovered outside a strip mall in Castleton on Thursday and was taken directly to the hospital.
At the Castle Village shopping center, located at 6714 E. 82nd Street, police from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department discovered a victim who had been shot at roughly 5:30 a.m. It is located immediately east of Allisonville Road, between I-69 and U.S. 52.
According to police at the scene, the patient was brought to the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities did not disclose what precipitated the incident or whether it took place at the strip mall or somewhere else since they were still conducting their investigation. There have been no detentions.
