Person shot on Indy’s near east side
Indianapolis, Indiana – On the Near East Side of Indianapolis, a person has been murdered by gunfire.
At around 9 o’clock in the evening, officers of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 2606 English Avenue address on a complaint of a person who had been shot.
When the police arrived, they discovered a victim suffering from injuries that were consistent with a gunshot wound. The person had been shot.
The person was taken to a nearby hospital, but there is currently no information available regarding their health.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has asked for detectives who specialize in serious assault to investigate the incident.
