Police investigating shooting on Indy’s near northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a shooting that left one person critically wounded Saturday.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened at the intersection of East 38th Street and North Sherman Drive. When crews arrived, they found one person suffering from injuries consistent with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
