Rock-containing cookies from Trader Joe’s recalled

Indianapolis, Indiana – The cookies in your home could be subject to a recent Trader Joe’s recall.
According to Trader Joe’s, two of its cookie kinds may contain tiny rocks and should not be consumed.
The following cookie varieties are among those being recalled:
• Almond Windmill Cookies with sell-by dates between Oct. 19 and Oct. 21, 2023
• Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies with sell-by dates between Oct. 17 and Oct. 21, 2023
The impacted goods, according to Trader Joe’s, have been taken off the shelves and destroyed. There have been no documented injuries recorded.
The cookies should be thrown away by anyone who bought them, or they can return them to any Trader Joe’s location for a full refund.
Customers can contact Trader Joe’s customer service online or by phone on weekdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. PDT at 626-599-3817.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience,” Trader Joe’s said.
