Six people injured, one man shot to death across Marion County on Sunday, report
Indianapolis, Indiana – Total of six people suffered gunshot injuries, while one person was shot to death on Sunday across Marion County.
According to police, there are multiple ongoing investigations about several incidents during the day.
The first Sunday incident happened before 2 a.m. when officers were dispatched to the Pike Township Fire Station in regards of a man suffering gunshot wounds. When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the victim dead.
The second shooting incident happened in the period between 2-3 a.m. in Broad Ripple. According to IMPD, total of three people were shot in this incident. Two of the victims appear to be in stable condition, while the condition of the third victim remains unknown.
The third incident in the area happened around 4 a.m. on Georgia Street. Deputies were dispatched at the location in regards of a man shot. When deputies arrived at the scene, the found the victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities later confirmed that one person was arrested connected to the incident.
The last recorded shooting incident happened around 2:30 a.m., but officers were called in the Eskenazi Hospital just before 5 a.m. According to hospital reports, they recorded one walk-in person suffering gunshot wound.
On Saturday, also seven people were shot of whom two killed and five injured.
