Indiana State trooper hospitalized after being rear-ended on I-65
Indianapolis, Indiana — According to ISP, early Sunday morning, an Indiana State Police trooper was taken to the hospital after he was rear-ended while investigating a crash on I-65.
The crash happened shortly before 4 a.m. near the 113-mile marker on I-65 southbound, state police said.
According to ISP, both the trooper and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
I-65 southbound was shut down for nearly two hours after the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
