‘Sweet baby ray’ has been born, according to the Indianapolis Zoo

Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indianapolis Zoo has welcomed a new cownose ray into its aquatic family, the zoo said on Facebook on Wednesday.
The ray was reportedly born on Wednesday morning, according to the zoo. The zoo also mentioned how rays are born with their wings folded over like a taco and quickly pick up the ability to glide.
The zoo also acknowledged that the baby ray is a boy, despite the fact that he does not yet have a name.
At the touch pool in the zoo’s Oceans exhibit, the baby ray can be seen swimming with the school of rays.
