Terre Haute high school girl shot and killed, two suspects arrested
Terre Haute, Indiana – Two suspect were arrested on Saturday believed to be responsible for the death of Terre Haute high school girl earlier last week.
According to police, the 15-year-old Mezmariah L. Wilson was killed around midnight on Thursday when two groups of people gathered in Carlisle.
Witnesses said the groups allegedly gathered in anticipation of a fight, but the situation escalated when someone pulled a gun and started firing. The victim got shot in the upper body and died later in hospital.
The suspects face multiple charges including criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and obstruction of justice. Additional charges are also possible.
