The fourth annual Gr8 Pasta Push has begun
Indianapolis, Indiana – It’s time for the fourth annual Gr8 Pasta Push. A nearby nonprofit called Second Helpings works to feed Hoosiers in need hundreds of nutritious meals every day.
You can contribute pasta or money to the Gr8 Pasta Push, which will help feed folks all around central Indiana. Over 160,000 people received dinners from the Gr8 Pasta Push last year, totaling $50,000 worth of pasta.
Pasta can be donated by dropping it off to neighborhood partners or monetarily by clicking this link. The deadline for donations is June 15.
Daybreak was joined by Second Helpings CEO Linda Broadfoot to discuss the chance. According to her, Geico and Kroger will match any funds raised up to $21,000.
On June 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the southwest corner of Monument Circle, you can also donate spaghetti at the Second Helpings Birthday Party on the Circle.
Broadfoot estimates that the company consumes a weekly 1,000 pounds of pasta. The group needs elbow macaroni to help replenish and restock the kitchen. Pasta is the top choice since it lasts a long time and goes well with many different foods.
In addition to making individual contributions, you can organize your own fundraiser or fundraising team.
