Anderson, Indiana – Four passengers were on board the plane when it crashed near Anderson, and the authorities have confirmed there are no survivors.

Just before 10 a.m., emergency personnel were sent to the 4300 block of East 100 South in response to a report of a plane accident, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
When personnel arrived, they discovered the burning wreckage of an aircraft.

Although the sheriff’s office was first uncertain about the number of passengers on board, they eventually confirmed that there were “no survivors.” Four passengers were mentioned on the aircraft’s original flight plan. Four people were on board the aircraft when it crashed, the FAA subsequently confirmed.

When the single-engine aircraft attempted to land at the neighboring airfield, it was allegedly instructed to reroute since it had arrived at an excessive altitude. Authorities were informed by a witness that the aircraft was seen “flipping over” and then “nose-diving into a cornfield.”

The aircraft is registered to a corporation and is said to have taken off from Fort Dodge, Iowa.

The crash will be looked into by the National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA.
