There have been 5 flu-related deaths reported in Indiana this season, including one individual aged between 50 and 64 years old
Indianapolis, Indiana – This season, five individuals in Indiana have succumbed to the flu.
On December 4, the Indiana Department of Health announced that there have been five deaths associated with influenza. One individual fell within the age range of 50 to 64 years, while four individuals were aged 65 or above.
Since the last report on Nov. 22, there has been an increase of four flu-related deaths. As of now, there have been no reports of statistics from any counties.
As of December 4, Indiana is reported to have minimal flu activity.
According to the department, adults have the option to reach out to healthcare providers, local health departments, or pharmacies to arrange appointments for flu vaccinations and other health issues.
