Two persons shot on Indianapolis’ far east side
Indianapolis, Indiana – Police in Indianapolis are looking into a shooting that occurred on the city’s far east side on Thursday night.
Around 10:25 p.m., the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department received a call reporting a person shot in the 700 block of Belhaven Drive on the city’s far east side.
IMPD reported that when officers arrived, they discovered a victim of a gunshot wound. According to IMPD, the victim was still alive and breathing as of 10:30 p.m.
A second victim with a gunshot wound was discovered shortly after, at around 11 p.m., according to the IMPD. According to the authorities, the victim’s condition is stable.
IMPD did not right away identify the victim or provide any additional details. The presence of IMPD Night Watch employees at the area to conduct an investigation has been confirmed by Lt. Shane Foley.
