Veterans can receive holiday financial assistance from the Indiana Military Family Relief Fund

Indianapolis, Indiana – As part of a Christmas effort that is in its fourth year, a program run by the state government of Indiana will provide eligible veteran families with $200 for food and $300 per dependant for basic costs.
In order to participate in the Indiana Military Family Relief Fund Operation Holiday program, veteran families from Indiana can submit their applications online until December 13 at four o’clock.
In a statement, Joe DeVito, the outreach director for Veterans Affairs, disclosed that the program, which is currently in its fourth year, has provided assistance to five hundred veteran families.
Those Indiana veteran families that are “experiencing financial difficulty” are the only ones that Operation Holiday assists. The Department of Veterans Affairs has distributed a leaflet that contains additional information, as well as facts regarding the application and recipients.
It is also possible for veterans who have inquiries to call (317) 232-3910.
