Violence shuts down an Indianapolis restaurant that just reopened
Indianapolis, Indiana – A well-known restaurant in Indianapolis announced on social media on Friday night that it had closed “for good” after briefly reopening the previous two days.
After multiple police calls and events, including an alleged gun incident, Fast Wok Chinese and Thai Food, situated at 10116 E. Washington St., stated on its Facebook page on Friday night that it will be permanently closing.
After having a stroke in 2022, Fast Wok’s owner Bungon Nettles was forced to close the restaurant for a full year.
With a great deal of community support, the restaurant reopened on Wednesday, drawing large crowds of patrons who stood in lengthy lines to purchase food.
