Welcome to the Corteva Coliseum, a legendary fairgrounds facility that has a new name

Indianapolis, Indiana – At the Indiana State Fairgrounds, bid the Indiana Farmers Coliseum farewell and welcome to the Corteva Coliseum.
The new relationship is effective immediately (Wednesday, Nov. 13), according to the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center. The fairgrounds agreed to a naming rights agreement with Corteva Agriscience, an Indianapolis-based agricultural technology business.
Corteva’s dedication to “excellence and innovation,” according to officials, “perfectly” matched their goals for the fairgrounds.
Chuck Magro, CEO of Corteva, stated, “We are from Indianapolis, and we have strong ties to the Hoosier state and the Indiana State Fairgrounds.” “The Corteva Coliseum demonstrates a significant dedication to our community, and we are honored to be a part of such a legendary venue that holds great significance for our staff, friends, and neighbors.”
It is so thrilling to usher in this new era for our cherished Coliseum alongside our longstanding colleagues at Corteva Agriscience. Their dedication to our State, our Fairgrounds, and our community is much appreciated. Together, we shall keep making memories and establishing customs for future generations. stated Cindy Hoye, the Indiana State Fair Commission’s executive director.
Since 1939, the Fairgrounds Coliseum has existed. The state basketball finals, Indiana Pacers games, ice hockey, NCAA tournament games, concerts, wrestling matches, 4-H competitions, and more have all taken place there.
In 2014, a naming rights agreement was signed by Indiana Farmers Mutual Insurance Company. Prior to then, the location was called the Pepsi Coliseum for almost twenty years.
