1 killed in fatal collision on city’s west side
Indianapolis, Indiana – Authorities claim that a pedestrian was involved in a fatal automobile accident on Indianapolis’ west side.
Just after 11 p.m. on Saturday, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a report of a pedestrian being hurt in a collision at West 30th Street and Kessler Boulevard North Drive. When police arrived, they discovered one individual dead there.
Traffic in this area will be disrupted for many hours. Police are asking all drivers and pedestrians to use an alternate route as they investigate the area.
Investigators initially refused to reveal the identity of the dead or the reason for the tragedy.
