2 banks robbed in less then an hour on north side of Indianapolis
Indianapolis, Indiana – Police in Indianapolis are looking into two robberies that were reportedly committed at Chase banks on Saturday afternoon.
A police report states that sometime after 12:30 p.m., someone attempted or successfully robbed the Chase bank at 702 E. 86th Street.
At 1:25 p.m. less than an hour later, IMPD received notification of a second heist at the Chase bank in the Castleton neighborhood, which is located at 5601 Castle Creek Parkway Drive North.
Six kilometers separates the banks.
At this time, the police have not provided a description of the suspect.
The IMPD and the FBI are cooperating in the investigation, according to the FBI’s Indianapolis division.
