4-H Fairgrounds in Hamilton County getting ready for a new pavilion

Noblesville, Indiana – The Hamilton County 4-H Fair got underway on Thursday with a groundbreaking and rebranding.
On Thursday morning, the foundation for a Bicentennial Pavilion was laid.
The pavilion, according to the leaders, is a component of a three-phase renovation plan that would result in the rebranding of the 4-H Fairgrounds as “The Silos at 37 Hamilton County: 4-H Fairgrounds and Events Center.”
The design also calls for eight additional air-conditioned buildings and renovations to the Exhibition Center.
The first phase of construction will start in the fall. It is slated to debut in late 2024.
The fairgrounds near State Road 37 west of Pleasant Street will host the event from Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Young people can receive instruction in citizenship, agriculture, home economics, conservation, and other topics through the 4-H program, which is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
