One morning after her arrest, a woman passes away in a jail in Indiana
Madison, Indiana – According to the Indiana State Police, the body of a female inmate who was 44 years old was discovered on Friday morning in the Jefferson County jail.
According to a press release that was published by the state police on Friday, there was no indication that the death of Misty Williams, who was from Hanover, was the result of any kind of criminal activity.
Williams was arrested on Thursday night and booked into jail on allegations of neglecting a dependent, possessing methamphetamine, possessing a hypodermic needle, and keeping a common nuisance.
These charges were initially brought against Williams.
In response to a request from the Jefferson County sheriff, the state police will investigate the death.
Within the southern region of Indiana, Jefferson County is located on the Ohio River. It lies roughly in the middle of the distance between Cincinnati and Louisville, Kentucky.
