Inmate, 35, passes away in prison after falling
Indianapolis, Indiana – According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, a man inmate who was 35 years old and unidentified passed away at the Adult Detention Facility on Saturday morning (MCSO).
The male fell off the top bunk and was reportedly acting in a seizure-like manner, according to the MCSO.
The on-site medical team responded right away, and the Indianapolis Fire Department and Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services were contacted for more assistance.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is conducting a separate investigation into the man’s death.
The person was detained on drug-related charges and was free on a $75,000 surety bail pending trial.
