Whitestown launches new an innovative playground
Indianapolis, Indiana – All kids can play on the new inclusive playground equipment in Whitestown’s Gateway Park.
Children of all ages can enjoy climbing on a sensory wave climber while also developing their sense of touch. The GTWave is an accessible zip slide that is connected to a climbing net.
“We are excited to offer a playground where children and families can have fun and learn in a safe, inclusive, and accessible environment,” said Whitestown Parks Director Dominic Cornett.
The Land and Water Conservation Fund, which offers matching grants to states and local governments for the purchase and development of public outdoor recreation sites and facilities, provided the project’s funding.
The Neighborhoods at Anson neighborhood is located directly west of Gateway Park, which is situated at 6150 Gateway E Drive.
The town’s website has additional details.
