“American Pickers” will travel to Indiana in the search for unique items and vintage treasures
Indianapolis, Indiana – In April, the popular series “American Pickers” on the History Channel will film once again in the state of Indiana.
The show follows antique and collectible pickers as they travel across the country in search of treasure among the trash and discarded items found in junkyards, basements, garages, and barns. The show also includes barns as a setting.
They search for items that are worth preserving and hope to give them a second chance at life by adding them to an antique shop or a personal collection. The show is not looking for stores or businesses; rather, it is looking for private collectors whose collections have fascinating backstories.
The show was created by Mike Wolfe, who also contributes his time as a host.
“If you think the antique business is all about upscale boutiques and buttoned-up dealers, this show may change your mind – and teach you a thing or two about American history along the way,” according to the show’s description on the History Channel’s website.
“American Pickers” will visit the Midwest in April, making stops in Indiana and Ohio.
“We hope you are ready for us because the pickers are looking to get their hands dirty in the Midwest this APRIL,” according to a Facebook post.
The producers of “American Pickers” can be reached by phone or text message at (646) 493-2184. If you have a collection or know someone who does, please get in touch with them. You may also contact them by sending an email to [email protected].
“American Pickers” debuted in 2010. It’s featured more than 320 episodes during its 24 seasons and has visited Indiana multiple times over the past few years.
