Almost 1,200 people in Bloomington without electricity
Bloomington, Indiana – According to the map provided by Duke Energy, a power outage that was reported at 1:04 p.m. caused 1,271 residences northwest of campus to be without power.
According to estimates provided by Duke Energy, customers should have power back by 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
The graphic indicates that there are crews of repair workers currently in route to the impacted area.
The power company, Duke Energy, did not provide a reason for the interruption; however, the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for south central Indiana until Monday evening at 7 o’clock.
