Fatal shooting occurred on Indy’s near northeast side
Indianapolis, Indiana – The near northeast side of Indianapolis was under investigation by the police following the death of an individual who was shot.
The incident was reported to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department around 1:06 p.m. at the 2400 block of Beckwith Dr. Upon arriving at the scene, the police found a male victim with injuries indicative of being shot.
The victim was immediately taken to a local hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive his critical condition.
An investigation is underway and further details will be provided as they become available.
