Animal shelter from Bloomington rescues dogs from ‘unauthorized’ breeding operation
Bloomington, Indiana – An “unauthorized” breeding operation in Bloomington, Indiana, had nearly seventy dogs that were seized by the city’s Animal Care and Control department.
In addition, the Animal Management Officers from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department and the Bloomington Police Department helped with the process of acquiring the animals.
The animal care shelter is currently appealing to the general public for assistance in the form of providing foster care and temporary housing for the shelter dogs. Additionally, requests have been made for donations of financial support as well as items such as bedding.
You can leave your donations in the white bin located outside the Bloomington Animal Shelter, which is located at 3410 S. Walnut Street. Anyone who would like to make a monetary contribution can do so on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Fridays between the hours of 12 and 4 p.m.
