Fans having a good time at Rockin’ on Main before the Indy 500
Indianapolis, Indiana – The festivities are in full flow as the countdown to the Indy 500 inches closer and closer.
Hannah Worthington is one of the hundreds of people that are pumped up and ready to go for the Indy 500 race this weekend.
She claims that many fans are ready for the action, like herself, and that newbies should be prepared for the unexpected.
“It’s crazy to see drivers that have qualified in 23rd position and wins a race so caught that someone else wins the race and they’re going to win the race, said Worthington.”
And with all of the positive energy that is being spread at Rockin’ on Main, everyone is getting pumped up for the big race that will be held on Sunday.
According to Gary Dunkule, competitions have been an integral part of his life for many years.
And it just continues getting better and better; he tells us that over the years he has been lucky enough to own an Indy 500 car that has competed on the racetrack. And it just keeps getting better and better.
“It was driven by Booby Rahall it sat on the front row at the Indy 500. He led the race, but he had a race gate failure, so he didn’t get to finish he was in the 30th, said Dunkle”
According to him, it’s like a dream come true.
“It’s a big deal for me I always wanted to race the Indy cars and I’ve been around these cars for 40 years. so now I get to enjoy the car, said Dunkule.”
Businesses in the area have told me that it is an excellent method to promote oneself to residents while also generating some much-needed revenue.
“It’s the biggest event of the year in the world everyone I’d be ready to have a good time drink party and have a good time.”
The start of the race is scheduled for 12:45 on Sunday afternoon. Tickets are still available.
