Accident on I-465 SB left one individual critically hurt
Indianapolis, Indiana – As Indiana State Police arrive on the scene of a horrific incident where one person has been seriously hurt, traffic is still backed up on I-465 southbound.
According to ISP, a collision at milepost 21 on I-465 southbound, close to West 79 Street and West 71 Street, is the subject of an ongoing investigation.
ISP stated that two persons have been sent to a local hospital for treatment, along with a passenger who may have been thrown from the car in the collision.
ISP stated that they are continuing to investigate into the potential that intoxication may have played a role in the crash, which is still under investigation.
It has been suggested that the ISP crash reconstruction team lend a hand there. For the next few hours, there will likely be delays for motorists on the route.
