After being rescued from Rockville Lake, a man passes away

Rockville, Indiana – Indiana Conservation Officers discovered a 31-year-old man’s body from Rockville Lake in Parke County on Sunday.
Dispatchers for 911 received a call at 4:24 Sunday afternoon reporting a missing adult male in Rockville Lake. Witnesses were able to focus the search on a region just beyond a swimming area that was fenced off and close to a concrete dock.
At 5:02 p.m., conservation officers pulled the man from the lake in 14 feet of water.
The man underwent life-saving measures before being brought to Union Hospital in Clinton, Indiana, where he was later declared dead.
Officials are keeping the man’s identity a secret until they can contact his relatives.
