Ahead of the college football playoffs, Pop-Tarts unveils an edible mascot
Indianapolis, Indiana – An edible mascot has been introduced by Kellanova, the company that makes Pop-Tarts, a brand of toasters.
On December 28 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, the Pop-Tarts Bowl, originally known as the Cheez-It Bowl, will feature the mascot’s premiere.
The Pop-Tarts Bowl squads for this year are still to be revealed. On December 3, bowl matchups and teams for the College Football Playoffs will be determined.
According to a press release, the mascot will “run around the stadium interacting with fans and, when the final whistle blows, transform into a game-winning snack for the victors.”
The mascots are based on the “Agents of Crazy Good” characters the brand introduced in July. Kellonova describes the Agents of Crazy Good as “an ingenious crew that comes fully frosted and ready to challenge expectations for where the brand can show up next — all while rallying for a chance to be fans’ next snack.”
ESPN will broadcast the 2023 Pop-Tarts Bowl on December 28 at 5:45 p.m. Teams from the ACC and Big 12 conferences will play in the match.
Fans can follow @PopTartsBowl on well-known social media sites like Instagram and TikTok for updates on Pop-Tarts’ newest mascot and the bowl game.
