Bedford fire destroys a historic train station

Bedford, Indiana – According to the Bedford Fire Department, a fire has completely destroyed a historic railroad station.
At 2:58 in the morning, crews were sent to the Monon Station in response to a fire report. The firefighters on the site requested assistance from neighboring stations because of the impact of the flames. At 9:30 in the morning, the fire was put out.
The Bedford Fire Department described the damage as a “total loss.”
