Bedford man arrested after police find fentanyl

BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested early Tuesday morning after a Bedford Police officer stopped his pickup truck at Mitchell Road and 23rd Street for an expired license plate.
The officer spoke to the driver 34-year-old Joshua Earl. Police found Earl with a container of razor blades in his pocket. In that container, officers noticed a small plastic baggie that contained a powder substance that tested positive for fentanyl.
In the vehicle, officers found a glass smoking device that contained THC wax.
Earl was issued a warning for the expired registration and was arrested on charges of possession of a narcotic drug and possession of marijuana.
