Bloomington Woman Facing Drug Charges
(BEDFORD) – A Bloomington woman arrested on a Lawrence County warrant for failure to appear is now facing drug charges.
“35-year-old Amanda Morgan was brought in by an out of county agency on the FTA warrant,” says Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults. “During booking and while her property was being inventoried, officers checked a duffle bag that contained a tube of chapstick. Inside the tube, a one gram clear rock was found along with four pills.”
The rock tested positive for meth and the pills were a legend drug Gabapentin 300mg.
“She did not have a script for the pills,” Chief Deputy Shoults added. “She was then charged with possession of meth, possession of a legend drug and trafficking with an inmate.”
